Murrine Vase (4in. x 2in. x 11in.)

Inspired by a Venetian glassblowing technique, I wrapped a semi-transparent blue color bar with orange canes to create circular glass chips called murrine. These murrines were then fused to create this unique pattern of this tear-drop shaped vase.

Reticello Vase (5in. x 5in. x 7in.)

Following an Italian decorative glassblowing technique, I pulled burgundy canes to create two cane bubbles twisted in opposite directions. By fusing these two bubbles, the colors overlapped and created a net-like patterned vase.

I fused several premade murrine to create one big murrine. The fairy lights underneath highlight the elaborate patterns and give out a 3D effect inside each murrine chip.
